Currently, running "make show-options" in a pkgsrc meta-pkg does nothing. To improve installation of a meta-pkg, the ability to run "make show-options" within a meta-pkg and have it recursively run "make show-options" in each of its dependencies, would allow the installer to set any required custom options prior to installation. Minimising the need to manually check each dependency for custom options.
This would prove very useful in meta-pkgs such as KDE or Gnome which have many dependencies.
