 Just for fun, in devel/libgsf/Makefile I added
 
 DEPENDS+=               gnome-vfs2-[0-9]*:../../sysutils/gnome-vfs2
 
 and commented out
 
 #.include "../../sysutils/gnome-vfs2/buildlink3.mk"
 
 and libgsf built successfully.  I had to update 
 gnome-vfs2 to 2.12.2nb4.  I am not sure what I version of gnomve-vfs2 
 there was before, but it was not building.
