 I have a workaround for this - I removed the fr.mo module from the PLIST
 and the various build parts in the work directory.
 
 Not exactly ideal, but it did mean the compile & install
 completed.  I imagine if you want to use a French
 translation or whatever the fr.mo module does, that
 this would be a .. suboptimal .. workaround!
