>Description:
graphics/gimp24, as of gimp-2.3.8 builds and installs fine, but when
run, menus open BEHIND their parent windows, rendering them invisble.
The Z-axis (window depth, etc) seems inverted, and all gimp windows
stay on top of all other X11 applications despite other apps' windows
being explicitly raised.

This does not occur on i386, so I suspect an endian-dependent error
has been introduced (don't have other big-endian archs to test). When
graphics/gimp24 used gimp-2.3.7, it worked fine on MacOS X.

graphics/gimp (gimp-2.2.11) also operates properly on MacOS X

The problem has also been observed on MacOS X 10.4.6.

Other applications which use the glib/gtk+ libraries work properly.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build and install graphics/gimp24 on MacOS X 10.3.9 or 10.4.6.
launch gimp-2.3 and attempt to use it.
>Fix:
Please report the issue to gimp project maintainers.
