Probably, but I would prefer to keep the bootstrap is simple as possible
and the Solaris bash seems to work fine.

I'm trying to get the rest of my team here to use pkgsrc on Solaris for
all of our package building requirements and so I want to keep the
 bootstrap as minimal as possible.

 Cheers
