 I do not see what the problem is with mail/tnef/Makefile, neither the
 old one from December 2004 nor the current one.
 
 The Makefile for mail/tnef-1.2.3.1 already used USE_BUILDLINK3 and did
 not contain any patches or definitions of CFLAGS. mail/tnef used and
 still uses autoconf and in Makefile.in I see no hardcoded definition of
 CFLAGS.
