>Description:
configure script for x11/Xfixes breaks when checking for fixesext.pc ...
initially x11/fixesext is not installed.. i install it.. which sings a similar tune...
<SNIP>
checking for xextensions... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package xextensions was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xextensions.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'xextensions' found
</SNIP>
The error is not fatal, fixesext buils and installs. but i built x11/xentensions, then rebuilt fixesext.. it gave the same error as before.
I tried Xfixes again.. same error.
>How-To-Repeat:

checking for fixesext >= 2.0... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found

configure: error: Library requirements (fixesext >= 2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.
