Unable to find and/or download needed distfiles for VMWare 2.x or 3.x packages that already exist.
Having difficulty getting VMWare 5.5 installed since no package exists for that.

I'm new to NetBSD (pkgsrc) and UNIX/Linux in general and could use some help here.
I really need the compatibility and/or option to run Windows XP Pro.

Download the version 5.5 tarball from www.vmware.org, unpack and run vmware-install.pl.
Asked for location of "killall". Didn't have it, so installed the psmisc package from sysutils.
Tried vmware-install.pl again. Now it's looking for "lsmod". I can't find that anywhere.
