packages on the stable branches are updated only for critical reasons
and security issues.  even in such cases the package needs to be
upgraded in HEAD first and pullup must be requested by a developer.
(looking at the changelog, it's unlikely that it justifies a pullup)

please file a PR against the version in HEAD if you want it to be
upgraded there.
