 I've received a response from upstream on this bug:
 
 "Great. Notice chkrootkit currently only support NetBSD <= 1.6.
 I will fix it in the next version."
 
 I've just updated chkrootkit to 0.46a and will keep an eye out for any
 further updates of the package.  I've also added a MESSAGE with a list
 of all the currently supported operating systems and versions and warned
 users about potential false positive results when using chkrootkit on a
 untested OS.
 
 Currently I know of the following false-positives on NetBSD:
 
 NetBSD-2.x - /usr/bin/login is reported as infected
 NetBSD-3.x - Files from "OBSD rk v1" are found under /usr/lib/security
