 Do you have any more details about your problem with missing libXfixes 
 for building gtk2 in pkgsrc?
 
 Do you still have this problem?
 
 I think this caused by having some wrong library that needs the missing 
 (wrong version of) libXfixes. If you still have this problem, try tracking 
 it down by using ldd on the other library dependencies.
