 mplayer's configure automatically enables QTX codec support if win32  
 codecs are available.  So I don't think what you suggested, adding -- 
 enable-qtx to CONFIGURE_ARGS, would change anything.
 
 Could you send your configure.log in work/MPlayer-1.0pre7?
