 I discussed this with Thomas.  1.37.x is their beta-branch, and we decided
 to stick to 1.36.x for now (amongst other changes, 1.37 has an
 incompatible database format).  
 
 1.38 will be released in the beginning of November though, so then we can
 upgrade to that.
