I've updated abcde to v2.3.3, for which the changelog reports:

  * Added FLAC on Ogg. Still not activated, since we cannot get comments added
    as a post-process action.

Could you look to see whether this is enough to fulfill your requirements, or
whether the caveat stated above is still enough to keep the PR open.  Thanks.
