 You have obsolete files in your system.  My guess is that you upgraded
 from 1.6 or 1.5, but you did not properly run postinstall.
 
 Specificly, /usr/include/g++/type_traits.h should not exist, but there
 are probably much more obsolete files laying around waiting to get in
 your way.
