Re: pkg/29026

The following reply was made to PR pkg/29026; it has been noted by GNATS.

The file transfer program path patch/config failure was my fault.
I installed your alternate patch-ae file, generated a correct SHA1
signature and pasted it into 'distinfo'. The procedure I used was:

 cd .../comms/minicom/patches
cp .../patch-ae . # copy from where I save the attached file
wc patch-ae # note line count 'lc'
 tail -(lc-1) patch-ae | digest >> ../distinfo
vi ../distinfo # replace old patch-ae signature with new one
 cd ..
 bmake install

And it built and installed without complaint.

I'm now curious about the original patch-ae file--if its just a problem
with the SHA1 signature being improperly generated. Will update to
get that back and try again.
