>Description:
if I run xterm (in KDE) as user zafer, I get following error:

utmp_update: /dev/ttyp1: Is not owned by you
zafer@blast:~ $

and that seems to be correct, because "ls -l /dev/ttyp1" shows:
crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel 5, 1 Jun 12 18:43 /dev/ttyp1

If I change the owner to zafer, the Problem seems to be fixed for that terminal.

I don't know, if this Problem is related to my system config.

Z.

>How-To-Repeat:
run xterm

chown ttyp* to user
