 Please modify this to fix the same problem on SunOS.
 
 Also, sys_nerr and friends are not visible on Solaris 10, at least in 64-bit 
 mode, but strerror() is, so use that in stead. I don't know about other 
Solaris 
 versions or 32-bit mode, but since strerror() should be a safe choice for all 
of 
 them.
