 pkg/30029 describes a similiar problem for devel/glib2,
 but with a different solution.
 
 For devel/glib2, the necessary definitions are forced into
 config.h post-configure. That solution doesn't work here
 because shared-mime-info uses intltool and intltool's
 override causes build to regenerate config.h after
 post-configure (and after pre-build for that matter).
 
 Also, since devel/glib2 doesn't seem to use intltool,
 so the cause of the problem isn't the same.
