Avoid GZIP compression of the Apache log files, and add an /etc/rc.d/apache
restart line in crontab :
newsyslog.conf:
/var/log/httpd/error.log 644 30 * $D0 B
crontab:
5 0 * * * /etc/rc.d/apache restart
Five minutes after newsyslog starts and rotates the log files, apache is
restarted to write to the emptied files.
By the way, should I carbon copy this message to another address ?
