 | AIUI, --with-proxy enables the build of irssi-proxy, an external
 | binary. So what's the point of making it conditional? I.e., is it
 | there any problem in building it always?

To be honest, I have forgotten why I made it conditional, but what I
notice now is that the configure argument is --with-proxy, not enable.
It may be related to some issue I had building it on IRIX, and I'd
thought something along the line that a knob is almost never bad. This
is however speculation, try as I might, I cannot recall what I was thinking.

So here's to another wasted PR number on my account, cheers ;-)

 Kind regards,
 ~ Staffan
