No news as far as I know.  Sorry.  I cannot even be sure that he
didn't fix the problems that I pointed out.  I only know that
after I checked his "fixed" code, there were still places (maybe
new, maybe old) where he compared pointers by casting to {int},
first.

I really have no personal interest in ARJ.  I was just making a small
dent in all of the 32-bit-assumption warnings I was seeing in pkgsrc.

AT the time that I filed the PR on the pkgsrc package, I was seeing
a lot of things failing to compile (or producing worriesome warnings),
so I began to try to sweep out some of them.  Now, many things compile
and seem to run on the AMD64, so I am less concerned.

I can test the current package for warnings on my AMD64, if you like.
