My apologies for not addressing this in time; I simply wasn't aware
of the PR.

Just to make sure I'm not chasing an issues that's been resolved in the
meantime: Does xconq work for you now?  I've just completed a build of
xconq without pkg_comp on 3.99.1; I will set up a pkg_comp environment
later tonight (I can no longer make excuses for not giving it a try at last).
