You might be interested in committing this to pkgsrc-wip, for
several reasons:  it will allow you to change your package over the
time, so you can be sure it is ready to be imported in pkgsrc, while
getting reviews from other pkgsrc-wip users and developers.

The other reason is that pkgsrc is currently in freeze (for two weeks
probably) so no new package can be imported.

pkgsrc-wip (Work In Progress) is hosted at SoureForge, all you need is
a SF account, and then you can just ask Thomas Klausner 
(wiz%netbsd.org@localhost)
to get commit access on pkgsrc-wip.  Have a look at
http://pkgsrc-wip.sf.net for more information.
