After building xmms from current pkgsrc and then running it, I've noticed it 
cannot play mp3 files, and I get the following message on start up:

Shared object "libz.so.1" not found

athlon1000$ ls -1 /usr/lib/libz*

/usr/lib/libz.so.0
/usr/lib/libz.so.0.4
/usr/lib/libz_p.a
/usr/lib/libz_pic.a

There is no /usr/lib/libz.so.1

A short fix:

cd /usr/lib
ln -s libz.so.0.4 libz.so.1
