this problem should occur in other systems (I see in i386 also).

I installed devel/dmake package and found its manpage is formatted
strangely. Its right margin is growing more and more. A pre-
formatted text version looks ok, so there might be an issue with groff
we have.

As above, install devel/dmake package, then see dmake(1).
