NetBSD 2.0 i386
>Description:
the LPRng pkg provides a rc.d-style startup script, LPRng, which it
dumps per default in /usr/pkg/etc/rc.d.
In order to activate it, one has to copy or link it into /etc/rc.d.
The script won't work, if lpd isn't enabled in /etc/rc.conf.
This setting, however, conflicts with the lpd script in /etc/rc.d.
>How-To-Repeat:
See above.
print/LPRng-core/Makefile version:
# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13 2004/11/28 16:03:22 martti Exp $
>Fix:
The proper way would be to make LPRng check for a different variable,
like, for example, "lprng", instead of "lpd" (but still provide "lpd",
so that other scripts won't break.)
