 Looks like my patch does not result in working binaries.
 
 robert (at) archon.ifoer.tuwien.ac.at emailed me as he spotted that if 
 you try and start any of the daemons this results in segfaults.
 
 The best resolution currently is to go back to my first suggestion of 
 building the package with USE_KERBEROS=no as this appears to at least 
 result in working binaries.
