the apache-log reads:

apache is the most recent 1.3, apache-1.3.33nb2

install apache-1.3.33nb2, install php4-apc, and watch your dynamic website

it happenend with earlier releases of apache, too, but i'm almost sure that's a 
problem of apc, /not/ apache.
