FYI: wget picks up the inet6 option from the USE_INET6 variable.
i.e. If USE_INET6 is set to YES (as is done by default on platforms that
support IPv6) then inet6 gets globally added as a default option for all
packages that use the options.mk framework. As such, I understand what
your issue is, but I don't think it's wget specific as all packages that
can support both ipv4 and ipv6 may exhibit similiar issues.
You could set USE_INET6=NO in /etc/mk.conf to stop this behaviour then
ipv6 support would not be enabled for any built packages that directly
or indirectly reference these variables.
