mail/qpopper has the notion of QPOPPER_USER, but it is not fully
implemented and doesn't work.

% bmake show-vars VARNAMES=QPOPPER_USER
mail

there are actually two problems this uncovers:

===> Installing for qpopper-4.0.5nb5
Creating user: pop
UX: /usr/sbin/useradd: ERROR: is not a valid group id. Choose another.

...

/usr/ucb/install -c -o root -g root -s -m 0755 -o root popper-standalone /usr/pkg/sbin/qpopper
Installed standalone popper as /usr/pkg/sbin/qpopper
install: unknown user pop.
*** Error code 1
