Not sure if this is a macppc or mozilla issue, but I tend to think mozilla.
Both packages build just fine, however, there are a lot of graphical artifacts, especially when filling in forms and scrolling. This is the only application I've seen do this on my system.
It's not an XFree86 issue, as I see the same problem when running the Xmacppc X server (which uses a dumb ofb driver).
