hi grant,
as you surely know, clamav is *very* dependent on steady tracking of=20
the software (even RCs are considered to be used in production=20
releases!) because a big part of the virii to catch cannot be catched=20
by adding them to the virus db alone.
i'm not a friend of using RCs in production environments, but in this=20
case it might be kinda useful.
thomas kojm, one of the developers of clamav and very active mailing=20
list participant, recently said that (still) using 0.75.1 would be like=20=
an 'invitation for malware' (yes, it was not 72hours after 0.80stable=20
was released -- they always told you to go for the RC...).
to make this already too long story short:
what about a clamav-current package? pkgsrc.netbsd.se, the pkgsrc-wip=20
section's home, was still at 0.75.1 as i checked yesterday... :(
anyone?
