Two parts.  Please:

  1- update fprot from 4.4.2 to 4.4.7.  Changing distinfo and PKGNAME in
     Makefile appears to be all that's needde.

  2- enable Solaris/sparc support. It looks like changing
     ONLY_FOR_PLATFORM and adding MASTER_SITES and DISTNAME for the
     Solaris binary will do it.
