>Description:
There are some problems with running firefox-0.9.3 on macppc.
One I noticed myself is the following:
in the bookmarks toolbar folder, the text descriptions for the buttons
are not always to the right of the corresponding icon, but at the uppermost
left of the screen (on top of the "File/Edit/..." menus). (see first
screenshot, firefox-1.png).
When I move the mouse over the buttons and the places where the text should be,
the text appears (and disappears from the wrong place).

Another variation of this bug is when one opens a menu which then covers
the text, after the menu is closed the text is written in the wrong place again,
consistently. This is especially troublesome if one directly clicks on "Edit"
after clicking on "File", since then the text is on top of the menu (sorry,
no screencapture for this one).

Text in the wrong place also happens in the middle of web pages, see e.g.
screenshot
2 (firefox-2.png): The last line of the fourth paragraph in the middle frame is
right
at the top of the frame, over the "most recent | webloggers | ..." menu bar and
the
left frame. I'm not quite sure how to reproduce this consistently.

It's not a rare happening, though; I just switched away from the firefox window
and then back, and when it got repainted, some text reappeared at the wrong
location
(compare screenshot 3, firefox-3.png, with the previous one).

aymeric@ reported some additional problems:
- sometimes (most often on first startup) the fonts in the menus are

very small, and the menu entries are empty

- sometimes (depends on the window, the session, whatever) the gtk

widgets will have some of their coordinates put to 0 or some such,

moving them to the top of a window, but not necessarily the text they

contain.

It would be interesting to find out if this problem happens on other platforms
too.
i386 seems unaffected. mozilla on macppc also seems to work fine.
