sitecopy's SSL support is explicitly enabled in the Makefile, but wrongly so because it passes configure a --with-ssl=/some/path option, which actually disables SSL support.

Removing the "=/some/path" solves the problem for me, but I'm not sure it will do the right thing with respect to choosing the right OpenSSL libraries on every configuration.

However, the current state is clearly broken.
