downloaded and burned netbsd 4.0 i386 on a cd

when tried on a shuttle ss51g the cd is detected,
kernel is loaded and starts to boot. while booting
and after the ethernet card detection : hard reboot

when booted using boot1.fs and boot2.fs
it works, i can install netbsd

once install is done, any attempt to boot netbsd 4.0
ends in perpetual rebooting after :

isapnp0 at isa0
(stops for 2-3 seconds then hard reboot with no explanation)

from my laptop i have compiled a generic with noacpi kernel
and installed it on the shuttle

works fine without acpi.
