ASCII is a fixed standard with No copyright symbol.  Ref	man ascii
 Ref 30 year old prints of American Standard Code for Information Interchange.

If NetBSD CVS commit policy requires just ASCII, it is a breach;
commiters might consider fixing,

Nicer if fixed at source, also in case Free & Open BSD etc might
share common ASCII code from Net.
