Hi!
I've a SATA DVD attached to a Asus A7V880, the device shows up in
dmesg output as cd0. But whenever I try to mount the drive I see a
bus-master DMA error and several complaints about lost interrupts,
and the machine stops responding. I've to reset the powerswitch in
order to fix the situation (not very nice).
I've only found some information about early implementations of sata
didn't include support for atapi, so I'm just wondering if this is
actually true. If I've hardware unable to support atapi over sata, I
can just stop trying to get it to work. :-)
Thanks, Micke
