Absolutely! This box runs 20 times faster with 3.1

NetBSD rock 3.1 NetBSD 3.1 (GENERIC) #0: Mon Oct 30 21:47:28 UTC 2006 builds@b1.netbsd.org:/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/amd64/200610302053Z-obj/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64

I presume it's a nForce4 IDE issue, but in any event the syncer
seems to remain busy and sys cpu utilization remains high (almost
exclusive) with 4_RC1.

Can anyone give me more specific clues (file) to blame on a PR?

(I can't get RC2 yet, amd64 iso url would be appreciated.)
