I'm writing a proposal to those that I answer to why "we" need to
change the configuration of our upcoming 4.0 machines to using tmpfs
as opposed to mfs.  Any comments the gentle readership wishes to
contribute as to advantages & disadvantages would be greatly
appreciated.
