You understand that whatever this "jihbed" CD is, it is not a product
of the NetBSD Foundation, right?

I don't understand what the problem is, but as far as I can tell it is
not with an actual supported version of NetBSD produced by the NetBSD
project, or even by any NetBSD developer. Also, you do know that "kernel
4.99.31" is not what is going to be NetBSD 4.0, right?

Who are the "gentlemen" in question? And what have they supposedly called
a "release candidate"? It seems to me that what you're testing is not even
built from the source tree that's going to be NetBSD 4, is not tagged as
NetBSD 4.0RC1, and was neither produced by, nor is supported by, the NetBSD
Foundation.

If there's an issue you can reproduce with an actual version of NetBSD I
am sure there are developers who will do their best to help you fix it.
But the only issue I can see here is that someone is creating confusion by
releasing something that's not a product of the NetBSD Foundation but which
might seem to some people to be. I'm sorry he's succeeded in confusing you,
but there's little we can do about it, I'm afraid, except to point that out.
