It isn't based on a game engine. It's based on UNIX with elements from the
Unreal engine (which includes much more than the game-specific stuff)
merged in.

Once I've 'ported' (aka: rewritten in Mare) the Doom engine to it (so
high-level, matter of a few weeks at most), why not? 8)
