Matthias, All,

Thanks.=20
Fascinating though.

I did a=20
make fetch-list | grep Fetch
On each of these dirs you prescribe,

But none of them would seem to want to build and
Install :
xorg-server
  Or
modular-xorg-server
=20
Curiously, wouldn't you think one or both of these=20
Would have to be built too to switch to Xorg?

Last night before I went home from work I kicked of

xorg-server build,

But I did a make not make install.=20
It's sitting there waiting, all finished this morn,
But in light of Matthias's email should I just leave it there
And not install it?

I'll start building and installing the recommended stuff anyhow.

Cheers,
Paul.

It shouldn't be too difficult:

1.) Get a recent copy of "pkgsrc" from CVS:
    export CVS_RSH=3Dssh
    cvs -d anoncvs@anoncvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot checkout -P pkgsrc

2.) Build the necessary packages:

cd pkgsrc/meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-apps
make install
cd ../modular-xorg-drivers
make install
cd ../modular-xorg-fonts
make install
cd ../../x11/xterm
make install

That's it.

	Kind regards
