Hi,

I tried the LiveCD as well. My mouse is a very simple 3 buttons serial
one. I had to set it manually to Microsoft protocol and tty00 (or ttyS0)
device in *all* systems including Linux I've ever tried (apart from
Windows 98SE). Not this time. No mouse settings to X gave me mouse's
movable cursor.
