Hello all,

What options are there with regards to debugging tools in NetBSD?

I have run into a bug in libpqxx 2.6.9, which I know I can track down
- -- if only I have the proper tools.

My point of reference is the VisualAge C++ 3.0 for OS/2 debugger. Any
old OS/2 developers here who've found any debugging tools for NetBSD
which are as simple to use?

I've tried to use gdb directly, but I found that I spend 50% of the
time fixing stupid typos I write on the command line. 25% of the time I
spend typing command which would only take a quick mouse-click in the
VACPP debugger. The rest of the time I spend trying to look up how to
accomplish the easiest of tasks. There's simply too much time wasted,
and in the meantime I also have to keep the program flow, and variables,
in memory.

I tried ddd, which is a giant leap towards what I want, but it's
still light years away from what I'm used to do with the VACPP debugger.

   Are there any other options?

Kind regards,
Jan Danielsson
