Will someone here contact MPlayer to find out if they have support or have=

plans for support for plugins? Meaning that a stripped-down mplayer can be=
=20
extended by simply installing extra mplayer plugins (or other libraries)?

That would make it easier for many packaging systems.

Or is there an alternative to mplayer that already does this?
