This is why we have list archives.  Same reason DejaNews existed (and
was later bought by Google).

Now, if someone can distill what is in the arhives in to coherent and
consistant documentation, even better.  Submit that sort of stuff to the
Port Specific FAQs or the NetBSD Guide.
