Hello all,

I have bought a new drive which I want to dedicate to /home.
Obviously(?), I want to run cgd on it. On another system I have a
similar setup. This is the disklabel on the other system:

# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg/sgs]
 c: 625142385 63 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0*-
620180)
 d: 625142448 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 -
620180)
 e: 625142448 0 4.2BSD 0 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 -
620180)

What I did was to set up cgd to use wd1e. Thinking about it
afterwards, I'm not sure if that's a good idea. 'e' covers the entire
disk. Does this mean that cgd can overwrite the disklabel -- is it just
a matter of time before that will happen? Or does it know that it should
skip the disklabel sector(s)? Should I have used 'c' instead?

Oh, on another note. I wish the kernel on the installation CD:s would
have CGD enabled. This would make life much easier for me. Any
possibility of that happening?

Kind regards,
Jan Danielsson
