Hi,

I've set up nearly exactly what you've described in my car, using Cajun 
(Car Audio Jukebox for UNix). It's an old-ish project, and hasn't been 
updated for some time, but works (albeit with a bit of hacking in my case).

I used Linux, but seeing as Cajun is mostly just a bunch of Perl scripts 
it should be possible to port it to NetBSD. It may even work under 
NetBSD already.
